Qadesh as a #noun means a #person who #incorporates #immorality into what is #sacred (#temple #prostitute). It’s crazy isn’t it, how the same word used as a verb means to #make #holy. When you make a #noun for #yourself out of what must be an #action on #God’s end you end up with a #messed up life. We are called to have a #righteousness not our own (Philippians 3:9) but #genuine and #pristine that is a #result of what God does to us (verb). The best of our righteous works is like rags. Jesus is offering us a chance to be made Holy when we put our faith in His atoning sacrifice. The question is, will you accept this offer of His?
